HistoryFounded in 1982, the Company operated as a partnership, becoming a Limited Company in 1989. A name change followed in 1991 and Zapi spa took up a shareholding interest in the Company. Electrofit Zapi is the exclusive UK Agent for Zivan (High Frequency Battery Chargers) and Best Motors (electric motor manufacturer). The Company employs 19 full time people in its own purpose built factory. The present facility provides 500 square metres of manufacturing space with expansion possibility to a total of 1000 square metres. In October 1994, Electrofit Zapi Ltd was awarded ISO 9001 Quality System Certification. The latest Standard ISO 9001:2000 was awarded in November 2003. The Company manufactures and supplies an extensive range of High Frequency Mosfet Control Equipment and associated products used by leading electric vehicle and electric boat manufacturers throughout the UK, Ireland, USA and Canada. |
