To “Retrofit” means to replace an old generation electrical control system with new equipment.

This will usually include:

Controller, Contactors/Fuses & Foot pedal or Tiller Head

Advantages are that the customer can keep their existing machine and have Zapi’s “state of the art” electronic equipment installed. This is a much cheaper alternative to purchasing a brand new vehicle. Installation of an Electrofit Zapi Retrofit System is simple and fast. The control logic complies with the latest Safety Standards and brings the machines’ performance into the 21st Century.

All Electrofit Zapi Retrofit Systems are custom built and are supplied with a comprehensive User Manual and 12 month warranty.

This Retrofit was made for a Kalmar ET 1.5 3 wheel 48V counterbalance forklift truck.

A Controller Used: H2 600 48V with Regenerative Braking Mounted on an Aluminium Plate

B Contactors For: Reversible Twin Drive Motors, Pump Motor, Power Steer Motor, Mounted on Steel Plate

C Foot Pedal: With Loom, Connects easily to controller and is fitted with, 2 retaining bolts
